The Yard Coordinator acts as the point person for yard organization and oversees the yard materials for safety, current inventory capacities, and infrastructure needs. The Yard Coordinator will support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers to implement the long term strategic plan for the yard (i.e. infrastructure needs, processing systems, pricing, materials and vehicle flow) and work with store staff, volunteers, and Youth and Work Programs participants to implement the plan and complete yard related tasks. The Yard Coordinator also coordinates maintenance of Home ReSource vehicles.
Job Summary: Home ReSource is seeking a Reuse Specialist to join our organizational team. This Seasonal Reuse Specialist will work in the yard, store, and donations acceptance area during our busy season. The Reuse Specialist will learn and employ a wide range of skills including: customer service, sorting, processing, and stocking building materials; building material identification; basic construction; and reuse. The ideal candidate will work to further the mission, vision, and culture of Home ReSource, operate cooperatively and safely, communicate positively, and be excited to learn with and contribute to our growing organization.
