Job Summary: Home ReSource is seeking a Reuse Specialist to join our team. This Seasonal Reuse Specialist will work in our store and donations acceptance area during our busy season. The Reuse Specialist will learn and employ a wide range of skills including: customer service, sorting, processing, and stocking building materials all in the spirit of reuse and sustainability. The ideal candidate will work to further the mission, vision, and culture of Home ReSource, operate cooperatively and safely, communicate positively, and be excited to learn with and contribute to our growing organization. Volunteer Job Summary: This is an amazing volunteer position which will help Home ReSource and partner events divert more than 80,000 pounds of material from the landfill. The Green Team Events - Day of Volunteer Organizer will help organize and teach volunteers how to identify waste streams and sort into the correct bin location (compost, recycling, and landfill). This position will communicate with the Zero Waste Systems Manager or other Home ReSource on site staff and event organizers and help ensure that the process runs smoothly.
